ANTI-BULLYING TIPS FROM BARBARA

We are now in the third week of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month. Research is showing that bullying is starting in preschool, as young as age 3. That means children have to be taught how to get along with one another at a very young age. The best place to start this training is with siblings. Modeling and stressing empathetic and kind, caring behavior now will help them learn how to adjust to being around other kids in daycare and then school.

TANNER'S TUESDAY TIPS

Hello again. It's Tanner here with more about National Bullying Prevention Month. At my school, we made posters challenging kids to be cool and kind. Everyone had to think of a challenge for one of these two statements: "Are you TOUGH enough to be KIND?" "Are you COOL enough to be KIND?" My poster says, "Are you tough enough to help a friend being bullied?" What would you put on a poster?

OLIVER'S TIPS FOR KIDS

This is my new Doggie DayCare. This is also where I have dog training, or boot camp. It was fun to have grandmom go with me to see where I go to school. I hope that when you have family visiting, you show them your school. Also, be on your best behavior. I showed grandmom some of my new tricks. #SOCIALSKILLSFORKIDS #OLIVERSTIPSFORKIDS #ANTIBULLYING
