ANTI-BULLYING TIPS FROM BARBARA

In this last week of National Bullying Prevention Month, I want to stress how easy it is for a child to be hurt by bullying, all while under the watchful eye of a teacher, coach or parent. Often the victim is too afraid to let on that it has happened for fear of reprisal. As the adults, it is our responsibility to protect our children. But more importantly, we need to be training them to be kind, caring, compassionate, and empathetic with a concern for the feelings of and respect for others.

TANNER'S TUESDAY TIPS

It's Tanner here again with more on National Bullying Prevention Month. What have you been doing differently to stop bullying? I have smiled, waved, and high-fived at some kids that others don't pay attention to. My friend walked away from a group that was getting ready to pick on a kid, and got help. Another friend found some kids in the bathroom ready to hurt another kid, and stood up to the bullies and told them to stop. All cool things to do right?

OLIVER'S TIPS FOR KIDS

Remember I told you that I got expelled from my other daycare? I though I was playing, but I was too rough with the big dogs. So it's been boot camp for me. Mommy thought this was an appropriate Halloween costume for me. I'm learning to behave better. This reminds me to be nicer to the other dogs. #SOCIALSKILLSFORKIDS #OLIVERSTIPSFORKIDS #ANTIBULLYING

SHOCKING SUNDAY STATS

16% of teenagers and kids didn't tell anyone about their problems.
