The Educators’ Guide for the Cool Kind Kid Social Skills, Character Values, and Anti-Bullying Curriculum,™ Elementary School Edition, includes content for various types of instructors; including teachers, guidance counselors, anti-bullying coordinators, and others who are charged with helping our children learn the tools they need to reject bullying. It showcases the components that make it engaging and life-changing; including award-winning music and fun characters and social skills lessons, as well as anti-bullying activities.
It includes relevant character words and a list of songs, which were commissioned specifically for each of these topics. It goes on to explain Cool Kind Kid’s stance on Cultural Diversity, and inclusion of Parental Involvement material, in English and Spanish. It offers specific Common Core and National Standards Alignment information. It includes tips for success and for introducing the Cool Kind Kid Challenge.™ The content of the curriculum is presented in 4 Modules, with 14 Lessons and 94 Sub-Topics. It offers social skills lessons and anti-bullying activities. This anti-bullying program proactively supports current research advocating for social skills training, or social competence training, at young ages, as the missing link in bullying prevention.
